Who is behind the MASK ? When you remove your mask who are you ?
What are your values and what are you passionate about ? Knowing who you are is important. Being self aware is very powerful but you must also be self acceptant. As a coach i see many clients become aware of their limitatioins and strengths, I encourage clients to accept both and be responsible for them. Self acceptance and appreciation are key to understanding who you really are. How frequently and thoroughly do you study yourself ? Do you notice how you rerspond to conflict and how you make decisions. Are your traits situational ? When are you fully engaged and at your best and when are you not ?When do you feel weak and powerless ? What makes you happy or sad ? When you learn what situations causes these different feelings you can increase your affectiveness and really improve your self management. Being firmly grounded in your strengths and avoiding being preoccupied with your weaknesess is a brilliant foundation. We all have flaws and shortcomings, but when we focus too much on them we create cracks in the foundation of our characters and lean towards loss and failure. When we learn to manage this and truely value and appreciate ourselves and focus on our many strengths and talents we become more comfortable within, and people respond positively to us. You are different today to who you were yesterday. We are continuesly changing and evolving and developing. We use a lot of energy to keep our masks in place. The public disguses we wear to hide our imperfections. Learn more about yourself and get your power from your many strengths and talents, some of which you have not discovered or appreciated so far.
